Comptia Network+® Practice Tests Revised
The practice tests conform to the latest exam objectives and include topics are networking fundamentals, networking infrastructure requirements for different kind of organizations, networking security, and network troubleshooting. The certification is vendor neutral, though most commands relate to *nix environment.
Who should take the certification exam? If you are an IT pro working in the area of computer networking or intend to start your career in networking, then this certification is for you. There is no pre-requisite for taking this exam, though Comptia recommends some amount of hands-on experience.
Are the practice tests required to pass the exam? Not necessarily! However, practice tests offer the following advantages:
- Exam like environment - Provides exam like screen and visual appearance which will help you to be comfortable when taking actual exam. For example, an exam sim provides timed test with various question types such as MCQs and performance based questions, and user interface that you actually encounter in the cert exam.
- Technical competence - A good practice test should not only have questions within the exam syllabus but also provide same difficulty level as in the actual exam. This would provide a candidate to know his/her preparedness to take the actual exam.
- Exam cost - Usually, actual exam offered by Prometric or Vue costs several hundreds of dollars where as the practice tests cost a fraction of it. Thus you can be reasonably confident about your performance in the certification exam.
